Dr. Sana-Ara Ahmed is a practicing clinical Anesthesiologist in Alberta and Ontario with specialist training in Interventional Chronic Pain Management and Cannabinoid Medicine. An avant-garde entrepreneur, Dr. Ahmed is a visionary who developed a chronic pain clinic to provide integrative, preventative and compassionate chronic pain management solutions that incorporate medical cannabis in a dignified manner.
She is an MD graduate from the University of Saskatchewan in 2006 and received her designation in Anesthesiology and Medicine from the University of British Columbia in 2011. A life-long learner and an astute clinical educator, she is a certified instructor in Simulation Medicine after completing her Medical Education Fellowship from the University of Toronto in 2013.
